This document is an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made thereunder. This agreement does not require any physical or digital signature. By accessing or using the SOCIOO website or mobile application and by clicking on “I ACCEPT”, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and all applicable policies of SOCIOO.
SOCIOO is a digital hospitality service platform operated by Socioo Software Solutions Private Limited, having its registered office at 8-2-693/2/18, Plot No., Mithila Nagar, Rd No. 12, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad, Khairatabad, Telangana, India -500034. SOCIOO provides an online platform that allows cafes, restaurants, pubs, lounges, and event venues (“Vendors or Business Partners”) to list their venues, promote menus and events, manage reservations and bookings, publish offers, and connect with customers. SOCIOO acts only as a technology intermediary. SOCIOO does not own, manage, operate, prepare, serve, store, deliver, or control any food, beverages, events, or hospitality services. All services are provided directly by the respective venues and organizers.
Only legally authorized venues and event organizers may list on the SOCIOO application. Eligible listings include registered hospitality establishments (such as cafes, restaurants, pubs, lounges, hotels, banquet halls, clubs, and licensed venues) and verified individual organizers (including student groups, cultural organizations, promoters, and independent hosts) who are permitted by law to conduct events.
To ensure compliance and platform integrity, SOCIOO may request verification documents, including but not limited to:
SOCIOO reserves the right to approve or decline any listing request and to suspend or remove listings or accounts at any time if documentation is found to be incomplete, invalid, misleading, expired, or non-compliant with applicable laws or SOCIOO policies.
All listings, descriptions, images, menus, event details, prices, timings, and offers must be accurate, complete, lawful, and not misleading. Business Partners are responsible for ensuring that all information displayed on the SOCIOO Platform is up to date and reflects the actual services offered. SOCIOO may edit, reject, suspend, or remove any listing or content that is inaccurate, misleading, inappropriate, or violates these Terms, applicable law, or SOCIOO policies.
The following types of content are strictly prohibited on the SOCIOO Platform:
SOCIOO reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to review, remove, block, or restrict any content that violates these guidelines, applicable law, or SOCIOO policies, without prior notice. SOCIOO may further suspend or terminate the associated account and take any additional action deemed necessary to protect the Platform, its users, and its legal compliance
All Vendors and event organizers are solely responsible for the proper execution and delivery of events, services, and experiences exactly as advertised on the SOCIOO Platform. SOCIOO acts solely as a discovery, listing, and booking facilitation platform and does not operate, manage, host, or control any venue, event, or on-ground activity.
Vendors are fully responsible for all aspects of on-ground operations, including but not limited to entry management, seating arrangements, crowd control, guest safety and security, compliance with venue capacity limits, service quality, and overall guest experience.
Vendors must ensure the following:
SOCIOO shall not be liable for any issues arising from event execution, venue operations, denial of entry, overcrowding, service deficiencies, safety incidents, or disputes between Vendors and users. SOCIOO reserves the right to take appropriate action, including suspension or removal of listings or accounts, in the event of repeated violations or user complaints.
SOCIOO may charge a commission, service fee, and platform fee for facilitating listings, bookings, and transactions on the Platform. The applicable fees and charges shall be communicated to Vendors separately and may be revised from time to time in accordance with SOCIOO’s policies.
All payments made by users through the SOCIOO Platform are processed via secure third-party payment gateways and payment service providers. SOCIOO does not store users’ sensitive payment information except as required for transaction processing and compliance purposes.
Vendor payouts are generally initiated and processed after the successful completion of the relevant event, booking, or service, subject to internal verification and settlement timelines.
SOCIOO reserves the right to delay, withhold, or suspend payouts, in whole or in part, in the following circumstances:
Such measures are implemented to protect users, Vendors, and the integrity of the SOCIOO Platform. SOCIOO shall not be liable for any losses arising from payout delays resulting from the above circumstances.
Vendors and event organizers must promptly notify SOCIOO of any cancellation, postponement, or material modification to an event, booking, or service listed on the Platform. In such cases, user refunds may be mandatory in accordance with applicable law, SOCIOO’s refund policies, and the terms communicated to users at the time of booking.
Repeated or unjustified cancellations, frequent rescheduling, or material misrepresentation of events may result in corrective action by SOCIOO, including reduced listing visibility, temporary suspension, or permanent removal of the Vendor’s account.
Vendors must clearly disclose all no-show policies, grace periods, late arrival rules, and cancellation deadlines in advance at the time of listing and booking. Any penalties, forfeitures, or entry restrictions must be transparently communicated to users.
All platform fees, convenience fees, or service charges paid to SOCIOO are non- refundable, except where required by applicable law or expressly stated otherwise in SOCIOO’s refund policy.
SOCIOO may, at its discretion, provide assistance in facilitating the resolution of complaints, disputes, or service-related issues between users and Vendors. However, SOCIOO does not guarantee resolution outcomes and does not act as an arbitrator unless expressly stated.
For matters relating to platform operations, policy enforcement, account actions, or listing decisions, SOCIOO’s determination shall be final and binding, subject to applicable law.
Vendors are expected to cooperate fully, act in good faith, and engage professionally in resolving user complaints, disputes, chargebacks, or regulatory inquiries in a timely and fair manner.
SOCIOO collects, processes, stores, and uses personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws. By using the SOCIOO Platform, users and Vendors consent to the collection and use of their information for purposes including account management, booking facilitation, payment processing, customer support, fraud prevention, and regulatory compliance.
SOCIOO implements reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect personal data. However, SOCIOO does not guarantee absolute security and shall not be liable for unauthorized access, data breaches, or loss of data except as required by applicable law.
Users and Vendors are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and for all activities conducted through their accounts.
Personal data is processed in accordance with SOCIOO’s Privacy Policy and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
All trademarks, logos, software, designs, text, graphics, content, and other intellectual property displayed on or used in connection with the SOCIOO Platform are the exclusive property of SOCIOO or its licensors.
Users and Vendors are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and use the Platform solely for lawful purposes in accordance with these Terms.
No content from the Platform may be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed, published, transmitted, or exploited without the prior written consent of SOCIOO, except as expressly permitted by law.
SOCIOO reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to suspend, restrict, or terminate any user or Vendor account, and to remove any listings or content, at any time and without prior notice, in the event of:
Upon termination, all rights to access or use the Platform shall immediately cease. SOCIOO shall not be liable for any losses arising from account suspension or termination
SOCIOO reserves the right to modify, update, or revise these Terms and policies at any time at its sole discretion. Updated Terms shall be posted on the Platform and shall become effective immediately upon publication unless otherwise stated.
Continued use of the SOCIOO Platform after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Users and Vendors are responsible for reviewing the Terms periodically.
For any questions, complaints, disputes, or grievances relating to the SOCIOO Platform, users and Vendors may contact SOCIOO through the designated support channels available on the Platform or via the official contact details provided on the website.
In accordance with applicable laws, Grievance Officer details are provided in the Support Policy available on the platform to address complaints within a reasonable timeframe. All grievances shall be handled in a fair, transparent, and timely manner in accordance with SOCIOO policies and legal requirements.
These Terms, together with SOCIOO’s Privacy Policy and other applicable policies, constitute the entire agreement between SOCIOO and its users and Vendors with respect to the use of the Platform and supersede all prior agreements, communications, or understandings, whether written or oral.
