Terms & Conditions

1. DEFINITIONS

For the purposes of these Terms:

  • “Socioo”, “We”, “Us”, or “Our” refers to Socioo Software Solution Private Limited. and its platform services.
  • “User” refers to any individual accessing, browsing, or using the Platform.
  • “Vendor” refers to restaurants, cafés, clubs, lounges, event hosts, promoters, or organizers listed on the Platform.
  • “Services” means discovery, listings, bookings, registrations, reservations, ticketing, and payment facilitation offered through the Platform.

2. NATURE OF THE PLATFORM

Socioo is a technology-enabled discovery, listing, and facilitation platform that connects Users with Vendors offering hospitality services, events, and experiences.

Socioo:

  • Does not own, operate, manage, supervise, or control any venue, event, or service listed on the Platform
  • Does not guarantee the quality, safety, legality, availability, or delivery of any Vendor service
  • Acts solely as an intermediary facilitating discovery, bookings, and payments

All services, experiences, and events are provided directly by Vendors, and any contract formed is strictly between the User and the Vendor.

3. ELIGIBILITY & AGE REQUIREMENTS

  • Users must be eighteen (18) years of age or older to create an account, make bookings, or complete transactions on the Platform.
  • Users below eighteen (18) years may only browse non-restricted content under the supervision and consent of a parent or legal guardian and may not place bookings or make payments.
  • Access to age-restricted listings, including clubs, alcohol-serving venues, nightlife events, and restricted experiences, is strictly limited to Users who meet applicable legal age requirements.
  • Socioo reserves the right to verify age and to restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts where eligibility requirements are violated or misrepresented.

4. ACCOUNT RESPONSIBILITIES

By creating an account, you agree to:

  • Provide true, accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain the confidentiality and security of your login credentials
  • Be fully responsible for all activities conducted through your account

Socioo shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or unauthorized access resulting from your failure to safeguard your account information.

5. LISTINGS, CONTENT & ACCURACY

All Vendor listings, descriptions, images, menus, prices, availability, event details, and promotional content are created, controlled, and maintained by Vendors.

Socioo:

  • Does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, availability, pricing, or quality of any listing or service
  • Does not guarantee user experience, entry, seating, or service fulfillment

Images, menus, and descriptions displayed on the Platform are indicative only and may differ from actual offerings.

Socioo reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to edit, suspend, reject, or remove any listing or content that is misleading, inaccurate, unlawful, inappropriate, or in violation of these Terms or applicable law.

6. PAYMENTS

All payments for orders or services on the Platform shall be made exclusively in Indian Rupees (INR). The Platform does not support transactions in any other currency. Payments may be made through credit/debit cards, net banking, UPI, or any other RBI-approved payment methods available at the time of booking. Socioo acts only as a payment facilitator and does not provide banking or financial services. All transactions are processed through authorized third-party payment gateways and banking partners.

All transactions are subject to the applicable Refund & Cancellation Policy and Vendor-specific terms.

7. REFUNDS & CANCELLATIONS

Refunds and cancellations are governed by a hybrid model consisting of:

  • Vendor-defined cancellation and refund policies, and
  • Socioo’s default refund and cancellation framework, where applicable

All refunds shall be processed in the same manner as they are received, unless refunds have been provided to You in the form of credits, approved refunds will be credited back to your original payment method as per the timelines of your bank or payment provider.

8. USER CONDUCT

Users agree not to:

  • Post or transmit false, misleading, defamatory, abusive, obscene, or illegal content
  • Harass, threaten, or harm Vendors, staff, or other Users
  • Engage in fraud, impersonation, misuse, or manipulation of the Platform
  • Circumvent platform fees, booking systems, or payment processes

Violation of this section may result in suspension, restriction, or permanent termination of access without notice.

9. VENDOR RIGHTS & REMOVAL

Socioo reserves the right to:

  • Verify Vendors using GST registration, Aadhaar, PAN, business licenses, event permissions, or other statutory documents
  • Approve, reject, suspend, or remove Vendors and listings at its sole discretion
  • Remove or restrict listings without prior notice to protect users, maintain platform integrity, or ensure legal compliance

10. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & USER CONTENT

All software, technology, trademarks, logos, designs, layouts, text, graphics, and other intellectual property on the Platform are the exclusive property of Socioo or its licensors.

Users and Vendors may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, publish, or commercially exploit any Platform content without prior written consent.

Users and Vendors retain ownership of the content they submit. By submitting content to Socioo, you grant Socioo a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual license to host, display, reproduce, adapt, distribute, and promote such content solely for operating, improving, and marketing the Platform.

11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Socioo shall not be liable for:

  • Any failure, delay, cancellation, or deficiency in Vendor services
  • Personal injury, loss, damage, dissatisfaction, or denial of entry
  • Venue-related issues, event cancellations, overbooking, or service quality

Socioo’s maximum aggregate liability, if any, shall not exceed the total fees actually paid by the User or Vendor to Socioo for the specific transaction giving rise to the claim.

12. INDEMNITY

Users and Vendors agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Socioo, its directors, officers, employees, affiliates, and partners from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, penalties, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of:

  • Misuse of the Platform
  • Violation of applicable laws or regulations
  • Breach of these Terms or platform policies
  • Infringement of third-party rights

13. SUSPENSION & TERMINATION

Socioo may suspend, restrict, or terminate any account or access to the Platform, with or without prior notice, if:

  • These Terms or platform policies are violated
  • Fraud, abuse, or misuse is suspected
  • Required by law, court order, or regulatory authority
  • Necessary to protect platform security or user safety

14. GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION

These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute, claim, or legal proceeding arising out of or relating to the use of the Platform or these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located at Hyderabad, Telangana, India.

15. PRIVACY & DATA PROTECTION

Personal data is processed in accordance with SOCIOO’s Privacy Policy and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute, claim, or legal proceeding arising out of or relating to the use of the Platform or these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located at Hyderabad, Telangana, India.

16. UPDATES TO TERMS

Socioo reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. Updated Terms shall be posted on the Platform and shall become effective immediately upon publication.
Continued use of the Platform after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

17.CONTACT & SUPPORT

For support, complaints, or grievances, Users and Vendors may refer to the Support Policy available on the Platform or contact Socioo through the official support channels provided on the website or application.

Socioo shall address grievances in a fair and timely manner in accordance with applicable law.

18. DISCLAIMER

Prices, availability, and product or service information displayed on the Platform may occasionally be incorrect due to technical issues, typographical errors, or inaccurate information provided by the Vendor. In such cases, the Vendor reserves the right to cancel or modify the relevant order or booking.

Users acknowledge and agree that the Socioo Platform is a technology-based intermediary and that all goods and services are offered and sold directly by the respective Vendors. Socioo shall not be responsible or liable for any error, omission, deficiency, or act or omission on the part of any Vendor.
