User Policy

This User Policy explains how individuals (“Users”) may access and use the SOCIOO platform, including the website, mobile application, and related services (“Platform”). By accessing, registering, or using SOCIOO, you agree to comply with this User Policy, the Terms & Conditions, Refund & Cancellation Policy, Privacy Policy, Support Policy, and all other applicable platform policies.

1. Eligibility

  1. Users must be eighteen (18) years of age or older to create an account, make bookings, or complete transactions on the Platform.
  2. Users below eighteen (18) years may only browse non-restricted content under the supervision and consent of a parent or legal guardian and may not place bookings or make payments.
  3. Access to age-restricted listings, including clubs, alcohol-serving venues, nightlife events, and restricted experiences, is strictly limited to Users who meet applicable legal age requirements.
  4. SOCIOO reserves the right to verify age and to restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts where eligibility requirements are violated or misrepresented.

2. Account Registration & Responsibilities

By creating an account on SOCIOO, Users agree to:

  • Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date personal and booking information
  • Maintain the confidentiality and security of login credentials
  • Be fully responsible for all activities conducted through their account

Users must immediately notify SOCIOO of any unauthorized use or suspected security breach. SOCIOO shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or misuse arising from User negligence in safeguarding account information.

3. Use of the Platform & User Responsibilities

Users agree to:

  • Use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Treat Vendors, venue staff, service providers, and other Users with respect and professionalism
  • Follow all venue rules, house policies, entry conditions, dress codes, age restrictions, and event-specific terms

Users acknowledge that SOCIOO acts solely as a technology intermediary and does not operate, manage, or control any venue, event, or service.

4. Reviews, Photos & User Content

Users may post reviews, ratings, photographs, videos, and other content (“User Content”) only where such content:

  • Is genuine and based on actual personal experience
  • Is not abusive, misleading, defamatory, offensive, obscene, or promotional in nature
  • Does not infringe intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or any third-party rights

SOCIOO may review, moderate, restrict, or remove any User Content that violates these guidelines or applicable policies, where reasonably necessary, without liability.

By submitting User Content, Users grant SOCIOO a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, display, reproduce, adapt, and promote such content solely for operating, improving, and marketing the Platform.

5.Prohibited Activities

Users shall not:

  • Engage in fraud, chargebacks, payment abuse, or misuse of payment systems
  • Harass, threaten, abuse, defame, or discriminate against Vendors, staff, or other Users
  • Misrepresent identity, age, booking information, or eligibility
  • Manipulate reviews, ratings, listings, bookings, or platform systems
  • Attempt to bypass platform fees, safeguards, or security mechanisms

Violations may result in suspension, permanent termination, forfeiture of benefits, and legal action, where applicable.

6. Bookings, Attendance & Service Disclaimer

  • Booking confirmation does not guarantee service quality, seating preference, availability, or experience outcome.
  • Users are responsible for arriving on time and complying with venue rules and entry conditions.
  • Misrepresent identity, age, booking information, or eligibility
  • Late arrivals or no-shows may result in denial of entry or forfeiture of booking benefits.

SOCIOO is not responsible for service quality, hygiene, pricing, staff conduct, overcrowding, safety, or operational issues at venues or events.

7. Payments, Refunds & Cancellations

  1. All payments are processed through authorized third-party payment partners in accordance with SOCIOO’s payment policies.
  2. Refunds and cancellations follow a hybrid model:
  3. Vendor-defined refund and cancellation policies apply first; and
  4. SOCIOO’s Refund & Cancellation Policy applies where Vendor policies are absent, unclear, or inconsistent.

Users acknowledge that:

  • Event tickets are generally non-refundable unless the event is cancelled or rescheduled by the organizer
  • No-shows and late cancellations may not be eligible for refunds
  • Platform, service, or convenience fees are non-refundable except where required by law

Refund requests must be submitted through the Help & Support section of the Platform. Approved refunds are typically processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days, subject to payment gateway and bank timelines.

8.Disputes & Support

Users may raise complaints, disputes, or support requests through SOCIOO’s official support channels, including in-app support, email, or ticket systems.

SOCIOO may, at its discretion:

  • Facilitate communication between Users and Vendors
  • SOCIOO does not sell or rent User data to third parties
  • Review transaction records, booking details, and platform data
  • Propose resolutions in good faith to ensure fairness and platform integrity

For matters relating to platform operations, policy enforcement, or account actions, SOCIOO’s determination shall be final, subject to applicable law.

9. Account Suspension & Termination

SOCIOO may suspend, restrict, or terminate User accounts where:

  • This User Policy or the Terms & Conditions are violated
  • Fraudulent, abusive, or harmful conduct is suspected
  • Required to comply with legal, regulatory, or safety obligations
  • Necessary to protect Users, Vendors, or the integrity of the Platform

Where feasible, SOCIOO may provide prior notice. Immediate action may be taken in cases involving fraud, illegality, or safety risks. Upon termination, all rights to access or use the Platform shall immediately cease.

10. Limitation of Responsibility & Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SOCIOO shall not be responsible or liable for:

  • Service quality, hygiene standards, pricing practices, or conduct of Vendors or venue staff
  • Event cancellations, schedule changes, venue conditions, or operational failures
  • Personal injury, property damage, dissatisfaction, or losses arising from venue visits or event attendance
  • Disputes between Users and Vendors

SOCIOO’s total liability, if any, shall not exceed the platform fees actually paid by the User for the relevant transaction.

11. Privacy & Data Protection

SOCIOO collects and processes personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and other applicable data protection laws. Users have rights relating to access, correction, withdrawal of consent, and grievance redressal as detailed in the Privacy Policy.

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This User Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. All disputes arising out of or relating to the Platform or this Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at Hyderabad, Telangana, India.

By accessing or using the SOCIOO Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this User Policy.
